I take pictures of garden critters!

True, it’s nothing too impressive, but indulge me.

First, we had a house finch nest that was very accessible. So I accessed it with my camera, repeatedly. From hatching to fledging took about 12 days.

Four eggs…
…became three ugly babies.
…who were sleepy and hungry.
Primary feathers starting to come in.
Now they’re cuties.

 

Next, I do have a soft spot for insects, especially pollinators. So every summer I have countless bee and butterfly photos. Here are a few from the last couple of weeks.
